A member legal-aid helpline, referral to legal representation for documentation, detention or property disputes, and incident reporting with case tracking.
RAMA seeks structured engagement with SAPS, Home Affairs and the Inter-Ministerial Committee on migration, backed by member-driven policy input.
Access, where available, to negotiated health, wellness and legal-support services through approved partners, subject to applicable terms and fees.

A RAMA membership card evidencing verified, registered membership in good standing. Proof of RAMA membership only — not a government identity document.
RAMA's membership is specifically focused on African migrants holding recognised legal documentation or status under South African immigration and refugee laws. This includes valid permits, visas, permanent residence permits, asylum-seeker permits, or recognised refugee status. RAMA verifies status at sign-up and periodically thereafter.
